South and North Lanarkshire is one of the largest areas within a 30-mile radius of Glasgow. From East Kilbride, Hamilton, Motherwell, Coatbridge, or Airdrie, the journey to our collection centre usually takes 20–35 minutes, and booking a slot allows you to plan your visit down to the minute.
How long does it take to get to Glasgow?
East Kilbride—around 25 minutes by car; Hamilton and Motherwell—25–30 minutes via the M74; Coatbridge and Airdrie—25–35 minutes via the M8. Trains from Hamilton Central, Motherwell, and Airdrie can get you to Glasgow city centre in 15 to 25 minutes.
You'll find our clinic address and a travel map on the contact page.
What's worth testing for after the age of 35?
For this age group, a metabolic and cardiovascular panel offers the most value. This includes a lipid profile with ApoB, glucose and insulin (HOMA-IR), HbA1c, liver function tests, and creatinine with eGFR. We also recommend a full blood count, ferritin, and vitamin D.
You can find these parameters in the metabolism & organs category, or as part of our extended premium packages, which cover from 45 to 71 biomarkers.
- Lipid Profile + ApoB—true atherosclerosis risk
- HbA1c & Insulin—insulin resistance before diabetes develops
- ALT, AST, GGT—liver health
- Creatinine, eGFR, Uric Acid—kidney function
Costs and Payment
All prices are in pounds: individual biomarkers start from £39, the VIP package is £310, and the ALEX 2.0 test is £380. A mandatory £25 service fee is added to every appointment to cover blood collection, sample handling, and laboratory shipping.
Booking in Advance
Morning slots for patients from Lanarkshire are the most popular—we recommend booking 2–5 days in advance. The system only displays available times, so double-booking is not possible.
Choose a time slot in our booking system or read about how it works first.
